Travel tips for the guests
We are so excited to welcome you to the Amalfi Coast for our wedding
on September 29th at Villa Eva, Ravello.
Perched high above the Amalfi Coast, Ravello is a timeless jewel known for its breathtaking views, lush gardens, and charming historic villas. We chose this magical town for its authentic atmosphere, stunning panoramas, and the unforgettable feeling of Italian “dolce vita.”
Below you’ll find helpful information to plan your journey and stay.
Nearest Airports
The most convenient airports to reach Ravello are:
- Naples International Airport (NAP) — approximately 37 miles [The closest and most recommended option].
- Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport (QSR) — approximately 28 miles. A smaller airport with limited international connections.
Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) — approximately 175 miles
Best for long-haul flights; travel time to Ravello is around 3.5–4 hours.
How to reach Ravello
- From Naples or Salerno, the easiest way is by private car or transfer.
- Alternatively, if you travel from the other part of Italy you may take a train to Salerno or Naples, followed by a taxi or private transfer.
- If arriving by ferry to Amalfi, Ravello can be reached by taxi or local bus (approximately 15–20 minutes uphill).
Note: It's highly recommended to arrange transportation in advance. Uber doesn't work on Amalfi Coast.
Getting around ravello
Please note that Ravello itself is not car-friendly:
-The historic center is mostly pedestrian-only
-Parking is limited and located outside the main town
-Most hotels, venues, and restaurants are accessible on foot
Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended, as there are stairs and scenic paths throughout the town.
But if you are going to explore Amalfi Coast during your stay, we highly recommend you to rent a car but in advance get details from your accommodation regarding the parking.

Ravello offers a selection of wonderful hotels, boutique properties, and private villas.
While guests are welcome to choose accommodations that best suit their preferences, we recommend staying in Ravello or nearby towns such as Amalfi, Minori, or Atrani for convenience [but you'll need to rent a car to move around].
